On January 18th 2020 our lives were changed forever. What a journey of strength, resilience, team work, love and healing, none more so than for our Lucky Ted, Miracle Terry, Amazing Papa/Dad, Incredible Mr Bulmer.
Throughout this journey it was your well wishes, thoughts, prayers, support and love that helped Terry, Janette and Team Buenos Aires stay strong every day. It meant so very much to us all.
We know you are all as thankful as we are to have Terry with us and on his way home. We also know that was not possible without the dedicated and incredible doctors, surgeons and nurses from Hospitale Fernandez who never gave up and of course Ted's "guardian angel".
As a free public hospital, Fernandez does not have the financial capacity they would like to have and all services they provide are free, including the life saving surgery and 4 weeks Terry spent in their ICU unit; all without charge. As a result these hard working professionals {who are absolutely passionate about saving lives and providing health care with such heart}; work in an incredibly run down Public Hospital, very low on resources and funding.
So how do you thank so many people for saving a precious life?
We hope to show our appreciation by making a large financial donation to Hospitale Fernandez. To demonstrate to the incredible staff there, our absolute heartfelt gratitude and acknowledge being forever in their debt, whilst helping them continue to save even more precious lives.
As mentioned previously, Terry and Janette do not want gifts/flowers/wine etc when they are back home, but for those of us who'd like to demonstrate our relief and happiness of such a wonderful outcome for Terry, this is our chance.
Let's dig deep!
Love, Terry, Janette and Team Buenos Aires (Camelo, Babette, Elio, Carla, Melissa, Luke, Wendy and Laura)
