Miracle Recovery for Mary and Baby Noah

Friends and Family,

My sister Mary, 23 weeks pregnant with her first baby at the age of 40, had a seizure at home in the middle of the night and then went into cardiac arrest on July 7th. By the grace of God, her husband is a Paramedic and happened to be at home that night (he often works 24 hour shifts). Her seizure woke him up and he witnessed her go into cardiac arrest. He immediately began high-quality CPR . First on scene was law enforcement who had a basic AED and advised 2 shocks. He continued CPR until EMS arrived and they put her on the Lucas device and eventually did get ROSC- return of spontaneous circulation.

She was eventually transported to the high risk Maternal Fetal Medicine hospital in downtown Nashville. She was intubated and on high dose propofol drip to keep her seizure free. They found she had eclampsia and an emergency cesarean was necessary to save both her life and her baby Noah’s life.

Noah Jeremiah Gray was born at 1024am on July 7th, 2026. He weighed 1lb 6oz and was 12 inches long. He is intubated and on critical life support in the NICU. However he is a STRONG fella who has already shown us that he can pee and poop and is moving his arms and legs!!! He brings his hands to his mouth and makes sucking movements with his mouth! He is going to weather this storm like his namesake!!! Noah!!

My sister Mary was extubated around 10am on July 8th. She has been making miraculous progress!!! She is speaking and eating and even got in the wheelchair yesterday July 9th with the help of PT so she could go see her sweet strong Noah in NICU!!! The entire hospital is calling her a Miracle!!

But… her and her husband Ian and their baby Noah… they have a very long road ahead of them. Mary will need PT and OT and she will need a much longer recovery than average post partum. She cannot drive at all for a minimum of 6 months.

Mary is a LCSW who specializes in therapy for children of abuse. She has been working in Nashville helping young children who have survived some of the worst tragedies. Ian is a paramedic who saves lives every day and by the Grace of God was home and TRULY saved Mary and Noah’s lives!!!

I cannot think of 2 more deserving people than these 2 to donate your financial help to!!
This is a very challenging time for them emotionally, physically, and financially!

Please if any of you can donate even a small amount of money to them to help them pay their bills while Mary is recovering and Noah is in NICU, they and all of us would be eternally grateful!! If you cannot donate, please please PRAY for FULL recovery for both of them!!! We have already seen the power of prayer at work for them both and they both are TRUE MIRACLES but we know they will need continued prayers as Noah will be in the NICU for a few months (being 23 weeks gestation), and Mary still has a road of recovery with the trauma her body and brain have suffered.
We BELIEVE in GOD and the POWER of PRAYER!!

Please support if you can!!
I will continue to provide updates as I can.

Much Love and Sincere Appreciation
