Martha and Gary Ramer, my grandparents, have been devoted servants of God for decades, preaching the love of Jesus, his mercy, grace, and miracles. They have always given generously, opening their home to anyone in need and offering their last dollar or meal without expecting anything in return. Their selflessness and humility have touched countless lives, and their love for each other is truly inspiring—they have been married for over 70 years.
On May 7, 2026, while driving to Casa Grande to visit my aunt, they were involved in an almost fatal car accident. Traffic stopped abruptly, and my grandpa accidentally hit the gas instead of the brake, swerving off the road, going over an overpass, and landing in a ditch. My grandma was air evacuated to Mesa Hospital due to her injuries, and my grandpa was sent to a nearby hospital. My grandma suffered a broken neck and spine, while my grandpa cracked his sternum and injured his back. The first miracle was that they both survived the crash; the second was that my grandma, despite her broken neck and spine, was still talking and had full mobility in her arms and legs. Doctors were amazed, saying she should have been paralyzed. Some refused to operate, but God answered our prayers by sending a neurosurgeon who successfully realigned her neck and spine. She awoke from surgery coherent and talking, with full mobility in her limbs—a true miracle.
Now, Martha and Gary face a long road to recovery. 100% of the funds raised will go directly to their hospital bills, rehabilitation and new car, allowing them to focus on healing. Seeing my grandpa sit beside my grandma, holding her hand and refusing treatment for himself until she was safe, is a love that inspires hope. Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and simply taking the time to read their story. Your support means the world to our family.
