Hey everybody!

So Sean and I have been visiting with Milo a lot (of course) and have had a few people mention wanting to donate towards our gas and general expenses hence the GoFundMe!

A little backstory on Milo's journey so far! Milo was born May 15th at 24 weeks & 4 days at 15.5 ounces due to pregnancy complications. I was diagnosed with preeclampsia and Milo was determined to be growth restricted due to his placenta not forming correctly. Due to this he was born two weeks behind development and size wise.

We received the news a week before he was born that he only had a 17% chance of survival. The doctors main concerns with his small size was whether or not he could be intubated.

Despite all odds Milo made into the world! He has been a fighter despite his rough start in life! ☺️

He has a long journey ahead of him in the NICU unfortunately. He's currently been there for 6 months with no current discharge date. He had a recent MRI and was diagnosed with two cancerous tumors in his liver.

We just received news recently 11/27 that he is being transferred from Ruby Memorial in WV to UPMC in Pittsburgh due to his special case. He will continue chemo there as well as surgery

12/12 Milo had his 7 1/2 hr Liver Surgery where his right lobe (and tumor) was removed! He is currently recovering in the NICU at UPMC.

I personally will be living at Ronald Mcdonald across from the hospital, so I can stay and provide for our boy. Sean will be visiting as much as he can but he unfortunately works about 3 hours from the hospital.
