Dear Family and Friends, Please keep my brother Mike in your prayers, this month has been life-changing for him. He went to the Doctor thinking he had bad heartburn, to then being admitted to the hospital, then flown from Roswell to El Paso, to have open heart surgery due to a congenital heart defect he was diagnosed with that he was unaware he had. Mike has been in the hospital going on a month and still needs more medical care and rehab due to him experiencing a stroke in the process of all of this. God has provided many Miracles for Mike along the way and we are hopeful he will provide more for "Miracle Mike" as we have been calling him. Mike is looking at 6-12 more weeks in the Hospital in El Paso. The hospital doesn't have any resources for family housing and my brother needs a family advocate with him, at all times, until he gets better. All of his family is pitching in to support him but the costs of lodging, food, and taking unexpected time off of work. Mike's family expenses could get very costly. Mike is a police officer in New Mexico, and a single Father of two awesome boys, Kai who is nine, and Talyn who is seven.
