I the daughter writing to seek any help that you could offer on behalf of my father Jerome II Fakat, who was admitted at the University of Alberta Hospital on November 26th 2025 at around 9am due to a mild hemorrhagic stroke. He is under the Neurology Observation Unit where they found out that he has been bleeding in the brain for quite some time without knowing himself as there were no signs. According to the CT scan the right side of the brain had been affected and thus the left side of the body is weak and no sensation. In the early episode of stroke the vision was mildly affected as well.

My father and I, who have been apart for 9 years. I have the opportunity to sponsor him with my hard work money while managing living expenses alone. I have no other closest family other than my mother who sponsored me here, both are divorced.

I am currently facing financial difficulties. I have always been a responsible citizen and have never asked for assistance before. However, the current situation has left me with no other option.
