A Miracle for Myra
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is Ginny Cacsire and I am one of four siblings. Some of you may know our youngest sibling. If not, Myra is an amazing, smart, energetic and loving girl. She loves to play soccer, draw, color, but more importantly play Roblox! For those of you who know Myra, just the thought of her puts a smile on your face. She is the best little sister, friend, daughter, and grandchild anyone could ask for. She is 10 years old, turning 11 in March. Until now, we have been very grateful for our healthy lives we have until a few days ago when we received some news that turned our lives upside down.
In January 2023, Myra was kicked in the knee during a soccer game. She had been complaining of pain that would not go away with any home remedies. My parents decided it was best to go to the doctor. An MRI of her knee was suggested and found small spots, with more information needed. Myra underwent multiple tests over the past few weeks like CT scans, PET scans, and MRIs.
Myra has now been diagnosed with high grade osteosarcoma that started in her left knee which has spread up her femur and lungs. We are heartbroken at the news.
She is currently being treated at the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. Her team of doctors, nurses, and hospital staff have been amazing to Myra and our family. The treatment is going to be difficult on, not only Myra, but our family as well, the treatment is going to be long and medical expenses will be ongoing. Although it’s going to be difficult it will not be impossible! Any donations would be greatly appreciated. Please send positive thoughts and prayers for Myra.
I will try my hardest to continue to update family and friends, if you have any questions please reach out to myself or my family.
Thank you!
