Our friend Mike Barber is going to be struggling with cancer again.  He currently can't swallow and is using a feeding tube while undergoing chemo and radiation.  He will under go an esophageolomy in the next coming weeks.  Although they have asked for nothing his house and medical payments are not going to made without help.  It will take six to nine months for him to start collecting his disability pension and is currently applying for food stamps.  Jimmy Alford has already made one house payment and is committed to continue if needed.  If we could help Jimmy by donating to the Go Fund Me it would be great.  He is also going to have meet his deductible January 1st for medical next year and hasn't started receiving sickness benefits yet.  His last day of work was November 6th and he will not return to the railroad.  We are just trying to get him into his full disability without losing all he has.  I know this is a tough time of the year to ask for help but any donation no matter how small will help.  If Go Fund Me isn't for you feel free to contact Jimmy Alford or myself to help.  Although he is limited in conversation, letting him know you care would be great.
