Hello All,

I am Susan, Matthew's aunt.  Recently, I learned that I am Matthew's favorite aunt.  I couldn't be more honored and I will tell you why.

Matthew is 22 yrs old who is a wonderful father to his daughter "Lilly".  He also is a very hard worker.  He worked for "Walmart" loved his job and was very attentive to the reception of others that he would remember what various customers enjoyed discussing.  He saw this as part of his job while working in the pharmacy of Walmart, one of the several jobs he held with the company over several years.
He also worked for "Uber" and drove the night shift.  He enjoyed "Uber" but was a solid "Walmart" employee. Matthew has always been a very thoughtful person and took to using manners naturally at a very young age.   He loves his family and loved being a dad to his daughter "Lilly" who is 2.5 yrs old.  He also found a lot of pleasure in helping the elderly as he volunteered  regularly at a nursing home.

On April 10th, 2016  Matthew was found unresponsive.  It is unknow how long Matthew went without breathing or a heartbeat. He suffered a "Cardiopulmonary Arrest".
We know prior to this happening Matthew was given a physical and passed all tests and completed the hiring process for a job with the "Department of Homeland SecurityTransportation Security Administration".  Matthew was on tract to be a Transportation Security Officer.  As part of the process he had some lab work done which showed his liver was outside of an acceptable range.   This was a red flag that something was wrong.  And all of Matthew's dreams were shattered.  Since then he has been fighting for his life as he has been in and out of the hospital since this started on April 10th 2016.   He was been brought back to life! Which we are thankful for but with many complications such as "Rhabdomyolysis, Dystonia, to mention a few, etc.   We are are hopeful for Matthew to continue to heal and to make progress.  Although we must be realistic about it and as you know,  insurance does not cover everything, home care, etc.  Matthew is home now, although he is not able to walk,  talk, and cannot eat.  He is fed through a feeding tube.  Matthew needs your help! Please what ever you can donate so he can get the care he needs to get better!  Anything would be appreciated.   His daughter  "Lilly " needs her daddy!
