I want to introduce you to Marlo Scheponik. Daughter to Katherine and Tom and little sister to Luella. On October 17th she arrived earlier than expected after Kay was placed on bed rest. I have know Kay for years as an OT, she is a strong willed, independent woman and is always willing to help others and help others help themselves. I would like to do that for her. Not long ago I was on the receiving end of our communities generosity and hoping we can extend it to her as well.

Marlo has an uphill battle. She was born about 10 weeks early. In addition to being born prematurely she recently had e coli twice, the second time was right before necrotizing enterocolitis which has required multiple life saving surgeries and a transfer from HUP to CHOP. Kat has returned to work in hope to save her FMLA for when Marlo comes home, plus rasing a two year old.
