Miracle for Kathryn Williams-Hospitalization-ICU
Our mother, Kathryn “Hattie” Williams suffered a sudden stroke on 3/24/21. Blood clots entered her brain causing the stroke and her brain went without oxygen for many hours prior to doctors performing an Embolectomy. This procedure was done to remove and break apart the blood clots.
Unfortunately, the procedure was unsuccessful and she has lost nearly 50% of her brain cells which won’t regenerate. Additionally, there’s swelling on the brain and as of 3/26, her brain has also shifted. The images from the MRI are startling as doctors have told us they’ve done all that they are cable. Our mother is now approaching the end of her life. She is currently on life support.
Our entire family continues to pray for a miracle that will refute what doctors believe because she is in GOD’s hands. Our mother is a GOD fearing woman. She loves the Lord.
On 3/29, we are preparing to transition her to hospice care and bring her home. They will remove her from the ventilator upon arrival at which time she will need to breathe on her own.
While we are hoping that there is still a possibility of her recovering we are also trying to accept that she may no longer be with us very soon.
This GoFundMe is done as a result of the anticipated medical bills, costs for hospice care and funeral preparations.
It was just our mom and dad, Earl Williams who live on a fixed-income. They have been married for nearly 58 blissful years. Any amount that you may be willing to contribute would be of significant assistance.
