Mira Mesa Lanes was going to be auctioned off and closed permanently but our fundraising efforts to save it caught the attention of a prospective new proprietor.
THANK YOU for donating the past four months. Your donations were refunded on Friday as we did not realize there was hope. With this new information I ask that you please consider taking your refund and re-donating it here.
But we must act fast! Please share with as many people in the next two weeks and ask for corporate matches if you feel so inclined. This is literally the miracle we have been praying for and can SAVE YOUTH BOWLING in SAN DIEGO!! We had the biggest and best youth program in the state and we have the chance to regain it now.
What will the $$ be used for?
- Purchasing all required PPE and Covid protocols to be in compliance with county and state guidelines
- Initial reopening costs
- A portion of ALL donations will be used to reinstate the youth leagues, tournaments, and youth training/coaching.
Our hope is to get the ball rolling again on a continued effort to save Mira Mesa Lanes for our entire community. Adult leagues, special needs leagues, corporate celebrations, Mira Mesa local school leagues, and senior protected times will be forthcoming as safety guidelines allow.
Mira Mesa Lanes has been in our community for 50 years and we ALL want to keep it going for our families and our future families.
