Hello everyone, my name is Mintamer Sewnt. I recently came to the United States from Ethiopia about five months ago, seeking a better life and opportunities.

I am a disabled person, and life has been very challenging since I arrived. I don’t have any family here to support me, and I struggle to find a safe and accessible place to live. Many landlords don’t want to rent to me because of my disability, and I don’t have a proper wheelchair or a place where I can cook and take care of myself easily.

Despite all these difficulties, I am an educated and hopeful person. I believe that with a little help, I can live independently, contribute to my community, and pursue my dreams here in the USA.

I’m raising funds to help cover:

    •    A wheelchair to improve my mobility

    •    Accessible housing where I can safely live

    •    Basic living expenses as I work to become self-sufficient
