The Minority Business Growth Alliance (MBGA) was established following the 2020 civil unrest in the Twin Cities. Motivated by a desire to build bridges across racial boundaries, we formed a task force to build the Minority Business Growth Alliance.
The Minority Business Growth Alliance is a team of volunteer professionals, consultants and subject matter experts who provide pro-bono guidance and services to help minority owned businesses grow their capabilities. In addition to helping minority business owners grow, MBGA provides its volunteers with opportunities to reach across cultures, building greater understanding and appreciation for the unique challenges minority businesses face.
We partner with well-established non-profits that already support minority businesses, acting as an extension of their team and services, helping them to achieve their mission by enhancing their resources.
We are seeking donations to help us establish a formal non-profit, 501c3. Once we establish the MBGA as an official non-profit, we will be able to solicit tax-deducible donations from individuals, corporations, and foundations and can also apply for ongoing grants to help support a wider range of services to help minority businesses grow.
