update 2: Minnie’s appt has been brought forward to the 15th April now, so now we have 5 days to raise as much funds as possible!
Update: Minnie’s oncology appointment is booked for 20th April. She’s still her happy self, loving her food and walks but her Lymph nodes do seem to be growing This consultation alone is £318. And then on top of this, we have to pay 75% of the treatment fees upfront before it begins. We, as a family are desperately scraping together anything we can, to try to give our girl a fighting chance. Every penny donated will go directly to her treatment, thank you so much to everyone who’s donated already
Hi, my name is Fae, and I’m trying to raise funds to help our family dog, Minnie.
Minnie’s Story:
Minnie came into our lives when our 1-year-old dog, Millie, unexpectedly became pregnant. She had 7 beautiful puppies, and honestly, we would have kept them all if we could. Out of all 7, only one looked like her mum—and that’s how Minnie got her name.
From the very beginning, we all had our “favourite,” and Minnie completely stole our hearts. She fit perfectly into our family from day one.
Having both mum and daughter together has been so special—they’re completely inseparable. Everything they do, they do side by side. They’ve both always been such happy, loving dogs. Despite being a mix of breeds and having a few allergies, they’ve always been healthy, active, and full of life.
Minnie loves her toys, especially her ball and would play fetch all day long if you’d let her, her favourite things are cuddles in bed with her best friend Harry, her toys and following Millie ♥️♥️
A few weeks ago, I noticed a lump under Minnie’s jaw, and I immediately knew something wasn’t right. We took her to the vet, and from the moment we were there, we could tell they were concerned. It wasn’t just one lump—multiple lymph nodes across her body were swollen.
We had to go ahead with an FNA (samples taken from several lymph nodes) and send them off for testing.
Today (1st April 2026), we received the results, and Minnie has been diagnosed with Lymphoma.
We are absolutely devastated.
She is only 6 years old and still the happiest, waggiest girl I know. She’s full of love, full of life, and still acts like our little baby.
We are now waiting on further results to determine whether it is T-cell or B-cell lymphoma, but we want to start treatment as soon as possible to give her the best chance.
The cost of treatment is going to be very high, and while we are doing everything we can ourselves, we simply can’t manage it alone. Every single donation—no matter how small—will go directly towards Minnie’s care, treatment, and giving her the best possible chance.
We know this cancer isn’t curable, but it is treatable, and we are holding onto hope that we can get her into remission and have more precious time with her.
If you’re able to donate, we would be incredibly grateful. And if not, sharing this would mean just as much to us.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read Minnie’s story. ♥️
