This is Minnie! She’s a 14 year old bichon terrier mix. Unfortunately Minnie has been diagnosed with lymphoma which is a lymphatic cancer. Minnie is a huge part of our family and getting this news broke our hearts. Minnie is a sweetheart she loves making friends at the park, napping, cuddling, and dressing up. She has been here for each and every one of us through hard times. At the age of six I was diagnosed with cancer and went through chemotherapy and Minnie was by my side during all of it. We all are here supporting Minnie now, just like she was there for us. After many vet visits and consultations we have found the best option for Minnie and have decided to move forward with chemotherapy, Doxorubicin (Adriamycin). Five doses are administered over the course of approximately four months. Minnie will be closely monitored to ensure she reacts well to the treatment. Our veterinarian advised Minnie has the possibility of going into remission and granting her a good quality of life. The treatment plan cost upwards of $10,000.
