Minnesota Firefighter needs Christmas miracle for his wife.

When Communities come together for one of their own, Christmas miracles DO happen! Help bring some Christmas cheer and financial relief to the Casias Family!

A Blue Earth Volunteer Firefighter is asking for the Community to pray for his wife Leanna Casias. She is struggling with her 5th Relapse of Brain Cancer, right before Christmas.

Originally from Buffalo, NY, Jason and Leanna Casias, huge Buffalo Bills fans, moved their family to Blue Earth, Minnesota. They built a life together there to live near Jason's parents and brother Nick. Since then, both of Jason's parents are deceased.

Back in 2018, Leanna was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma of the Brain. She has fought brain cancer FIVE times now, and she is really tired of the fight. Rightfully so, so is Leanna's husband Jason.

Leanna is currently in Comfort Care/Hospice in Rochester, MN. She is surrounded by love and her family. Leanna is holding strong.

Since 2018, Jason has been juggling working at the County Jail, Volunteer Firefighting, being a father to his two great sons, kids sports, being the only driver in the household, working long hours and always being there for his wife, Leanna.

Leanna was previously working at the local school as a Teacher's Aide. She loved her job working with the students. Due to falling ill, she was unable to work anymore and help Jason provide for their family.

If Christmas wasn't expensive enough, add on hospital bills, doctor visits, medical treatments, meals, gasoline, hotel stays, time off of work and everyday living expenses. It all adds up really quick!

In June of 2025, Leanna's two sons Nate and Dominik, who is Autistic, along with Jason were HEROES! They were all recognized at the County Fair this past August 2025 and given Awards. They saved Leanna's life by performing CPR, with Jason their father talking Nate through his fears and teaching him CPR over the phone! Leanna was blue and having seizures. The boys saved their mom's life by performing CPR until help arrived. This was Leanna's 4th Relapse from Brain Cancer. We can only hope she will still be with us this Christmas. This is Leanna's 5th Relapse.

Leanna's father, Stephen Powell and I, Wendy Powell, have put this fundraiser together to bring some financial relief to Jason and Leanna (mother of 4 Nathan 15, Dominik 14, Alexis 18 And Abigail 16). They have all been through so much! And the upcoming days and the holidays will be even harder!

Jason's hotel stay is covered until Wednesday. He has a two hour drive, one way from home to the hospital to see Leanna. Can you please help them be together this Christmas? Please donate if you can! Thank you!

Jason Casias and his wife Leanna Casias could use the Community's support this Christmas! To take some of the financial burden away. As he prepares to say goodbye to the Love of his Life, Leanna Casias due to Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma/CNS Lymphoma
of the Brain.

Thank you to everyone who has donated, who has reached out, who prayed for Leanna, Jason and their children. We all thank you! Life throws us curveballs when we least expect it. Unfortunately, this time, its Christmas time too. Please pray for Leanna, Jason and her family.

Our Family Christmas Wish...
May you have Peace, Love, and Prosper this holiday season. Always remember to hug your loved ones tight. Last week, Jason and Leanna and their sons were celebrating Leanna returning home for Thanksgiving. They made cookies together as a family. This week, brings them more pain and alot of sorrow.

Please Donate to a good cause! The Casias Family could use some holiday cheer this Christmas. Thank you for your help and generosity!

Best wishes for a healthy New Year,
Jason & Leanna Casias, Stephen & Wendy Powell
