For those of you that know and love the Minnes Family, from near and far, you know them to be caring people pouring out their lives into their family and friends.  

Rod Minnes (58), a husband, a father, a son, a coach and a friend, passed away during the early morning hours with his loving family by his side on Monday, March 25, 2019 in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.  

Rod spent years and countless hours on the pool deck coaching swimmers in Canada, United States and Australia. He poured out his time and energy to help swimmers of all abilities fulfill their swimming goals and dreams. 

Rod was the rock and the sole provider for his family.  His wife, Gina, homeschooled their two daughters, Asia (15) and Journee (13) which enabled them to travel for swimming.   Now that Rod has passed, the family needs are immediate for the cost of a funeral, travel back to Virginia, where they currently reside, and for living expenses to help during this difficult transition.  

In order to support a family that has given so much to every community they have lived in, we are turning to you to give back to the precious Minnes family.  We are asking for everyone to look into their hearts and dig deep into their pockets to donate whatever possible to help support Gina, Asia and Journee while they process their great loss and life altering circumstance.
