Mink Family Covid Emergency Assistance

Gerald Mink, loving husband and father, unexpectedly succumbed to COVID-19 while traveling abroad with his wife and three of their children. The Minks adopted two girls from Estonia and had returned to share their children’s birthplace with them.

Unfortunately, just two days after arriving in Estonia, the family fell ill. Gerald was the last to become sick and after just 5 days, he passed away. His wife, Carla Mink and her children are still in Estonia under quarantine and are beginning to recover from the illness.

Due to the circumstances and an unexpected longer stay, we are setting up a GoFundMe to help ensure this family is able to pay for their accommodations and get back home to the United States. The family is just devastated over this loss and Carla needs to know she can make it back home and pay for their expenses until they are allowed to leave. The family is looking into options for ensuring their loved one is returned to the US, as well. Any donation is appreciated.

Note from Brenda:  Carla depended on Gerald as the provider of their family, and she needed to stay home to be with their special needs children.  Any funds that come in, in excess of the goal, will be put towards funeral expenses as well as helping support Carla and the children as they adjust to life without their daddy and husband. I would love to see them be blessed BIG.
