My father has always been a source of strength for our family, but recently he has faced a series of challenges that have made daily life incredibly difficult. He is disabled and relies on his vehicle to get to his many doctor appointments, especially after receiving a kidney transplant. Unfortunately, he was recently the victim of a hit and run accident at the intersection of Park Avenue and Lantern St in Greenlawn, NY. The person responsible fled the scene, and the case is still under investigation. This has left my father without a reliable way to get to his critical medical appointments, adding even more stress to an already challenging situation.

As his child, I am doing everything I can to support him, but the cost of replacing his vehicle is more than we can manage on our own. My father’s health depends on regular visits to his doctors, and without a car, his independence and well-being are at risk. We are hoping to raise enough funds to purchase a dependable minivan that will allow him to safely get to his appointments and regain some of the freedom he has lost.
