Ministry of Petr Rusev

Our beloved grandfather Petr Rusev was called home to be with our eternal father on February 14th 2022, at the age of 68. Our grandfather left behind his wife Nadezhda, 3 children, 17 grandchildren, and one great granddaughter. Petr devoted his life to be an example and serve Christ in all aspects of his life from teaching his children to love God, serving as a deacon in his local church, and passionately sharing the gospel with non-believers of Ukraine, focusing on prison ministry, humanitarian aid for large families, and helping people with physical disabilities.

The last 10+ years of his life, grandfather actively searched out and collected wheelchairs and other equipment to help with transportation that he would send to Ukraine and during his visits would take them to those most in need, such as elderly people and people of all ages with physical disabilities. His main focus was to provide them with essential equipment that was unattainable with their income and in doing so have the opportunity to share the gospel and glorify God with his example of good deeds.

In the last few days of grandfather’s life, one of his main concerns were the many people he met on his trips and those still waiting for help and equipment. In memory of our grandfather, we would like to open this fund to complete the work that he started and continue the spread of the gospel.
