Big Mike is hard-working, beloved husband, father and friend. He is a man of Faith that is warm and loving bringing joy to all he meets, if not a little sass as well. LOL!

After a week of celebrations for his kids’ graduations, Michael was at the rehearsal for his own graduation from the School of Ministry as he has plans to use his giant heart to serve the community. Sadly, at the rehearsal, Michael passed out. In the fall, he hit his head/face on a metal doorframe causing him to need over 26+ stitches in his face and causing a Cervical spinal cord injury causing pain and paralysis in his hands. He was in the ICU for 5 days and remains in the hospital as doctor’s monitor his progress and try to assess what they can do to help with his pain and help him regain full use of his hands. Upon posting about his story, many mutual friends started asking how they could help. With his wife’s permission, I have started this page. Although hesitant as they are normally the ones that would give and not ask for charity, we all know how fast medical bills can get away from us so, to help this family be able to focus on healing and not mounting debt, I am starting this fund on their behalf. If all you can afford is prayers, those are happily accepted. However, if you can afford to give more, every dollar helps.
