A Short Musical PSA (The Global HER Project)

Thank you for stopping by! As you know, we are raising the remaining funds to finish a short musical film project that provides viewers with information about the Mexico City Policy (aka the Global Gag Rule) and suggests how we can end this policy, asking viewers to call Congress and to encourage their representatives to support the Global HER Act. The funds will cover our post-production costs like music, sound, and graphics in addition to covering web development and talent fees. 

This project is being created by artists and advocates dedicated to supporting women’s rights and reproductive choices at home and overseas. Our mission is to shed light on a policy that has statistically proven to be harmful and is not in line with most Americans’ values. The goal is to point viewers towards potential solutions and to inspire audiences to take action by reaching out to their representatives.

Several NGOs (Non-Governmental Organizations) have supported and weighed in on the project to ensure accuracy. We are aiming to use our voices (literally...through song!) to support health care professionals and patients who are being silenced by recently implemented U.S. policies.
