Mini Libraries for Underprivileged Communities
Donation protected
We are youth from high schools in the Phoenix area raising funds to purchase 4 mini libraries from littlefreelibrary.com. Over the past 6 months, we have raised over 30,000 books from various drives, donations, and people like you looking to make a difference in their community. We are committed to not only educating people through books and improving literacy, but also to building communities through reading and setting people up for literary success in the future. We have already made many donations to underprivileged communities all around Arizona, including Native American reservations, detention centers, and schools. The next step in our distribution process is Little Free Libraries, which we hope to set up in underprivileged communities all around the valley. These libraries are a great way to provide access to books for high-need areas 24/7, and bring communities together through a book exchange. Our goal of $1500 enables us to purchase 4 little free libraries that will transform communities and grant free book access to those in need.
