My name is Kue Chang. Our beloved Ming Lee was recently diagnosed with Stage III colon cancer. This GoFundMe will help Ming cover medical bills and living expenses.

Many of you know Ming personally, professionally, or from a distance. Ming has grown deep roots in Minnesota and Laos. He is the Executive Director and President of the Givers of Dreams Organization, a non-profit based in the Twin Cities that creates educational opportunities for underprivileged students in Laos. Dedicating his life mission to uplift others keeps him going.

After weeks of intense abdominal pain, Ming went to the Emergency Room on August 6th. After several examinations and a colonoscopy, doctors identified a large cancerous mass. Ming underwent immediate surgery to remove the blockage and is currently recovering. However, he will need six months of bi-weekly chemotherapy to eradicate remaining traces of cancer. Though Ming has medical insurance, his co-pay is still $200 per visit. Ming’s out-of-pocket treatment will cost over $5,400.

While Ming has returned to work to maintain his medical insurance, he is at reduced capacity. Your donation will help Ming focus on beating cancer while alleviating his financial worries. Please help him on this journey with your donation, prayers, thoughts, and warmth.
