This is my sister Minerva. This week, Hibran Cazares -- my sister's partner of 14 years, father to my 3 nephews and beautiful new-born niece, and my friend -- tragically passed away at the age of 31.
My sister is a full-time mother, and in spite of difficult personal and financial circumstances, she has overcome over and over again for the sake of her children.
However, this unexpected loss is a deep shock to my sister and my nephews, and they are completely destroyed. On top of the trauma of losing her partner, my sister is now left without the breadwinner of the family to raise her 3 boys and 2-month-old baby as a single mother. As of now, we do not have the means to give Hibran a proper memorial.
I am humbly asking the community to step in during this difficult time. Any amount and kind words will be deeply appreciated.
Your contribution will go directly toward memorial expenses, and toward helping Minerva, Israel (12), Nathan (7), Matthew (3), and baby Yelitza with expenses related to basic necessities: shelter, food and baby formula, diapers, medical expenses, and counseling services.
