Mindy’s marathon

Hey y’all! It’s Katie! I’m taking it upon myself to set up a go fund me for Mindy. She’s totally gonna kick my butt for this, but I’m up for the butt whoopin if this helps her in any way. Most of you follow along and know her story, but for the ones that don’t, here’s a quick recap. About a year ago she was diagnosed with a very rare and aggressive uterine cancer (sarcoma) the doctors here couldn’t help so they sent her to Md Anderson. This type of sarcoma is so rare that even Md Anderson hasn’t seen it and asked if she would want to be part of a study. Of course my girl said yes, because if she can help someone else later then that’s just what she’ll do. She’s been traveling back and forth over the year getting treatment. The cancer has now spread to her lungs and Md Anderson agreed to pair up with the doctors here so she could be close to home for this new chemo she’s been undergoing. Poor Brett has been working around the clock to provide for his family while Mindy can’t work, taking any details he could take and literally coming home to eat and nap (that’s what I call it).
