Mindy Davis is a dear friend to many, especially to those in the Cross Creek community of Atlanta. She is a kind, gentle soul, and a consummate professional. She is also a fighter and right now she is in the fight of her life.
In May 2014, at the age of 49, Mindy was diagnosed with breast cancer. Aggressive chemotherapy was unfortunately unsuccessful so lumpectomies followed in October and November. Radiation was then utilized in an attempt to destroy any remaining cancer cells. Unfortunately, a radical double mastectomy was necessary in late 2015. Doctors gave chemo yet another try to no avail, and twice daily radiation was recently discontinued as it caused blistering 3rd degree burns. Once the burns heal, hormone replacement therapy is her next step.
Mindy's diagnosis is Stage 4 cancer. It is incurable. The prognosis is grim. Her needs are immediate. But, miracles do happen and we are praying and hoping for a miracle. This is where you can help...
Mindy's insurance doesn't begin to scratch the surface of her medical costs and she has been unable to work for the last two months. We are searching for any monetary support that can be offered. No amount is too small. Every penny is greatly needed and forever appreciated. All monies donated will be used to pay her medical bills as well as her basic living expenses.
Thank you for your consideration and prayers. We hope to update you all with good news soon.
