On March 19, 2018 Mindy developed a blood clot in her brain which caused a stroke.  She was in St. Mary's Hospital for 12 days and was then transferred to a rehabilitation facility in Pine Island.  

The family has incurred many medical costs and is facing a lengthy rehabilitation process.  

Mindy and Mike are huge supporters of Pine Island youth sports and high school activities.  She has served on numerous committees, and is always willing to jump in and lend a hand when needed.  

Mindy's husband Mike has been a coach of numerous teams in Pine Island for 10+ years.
