We’re a group of students from Texas Christian University who believe that mental health should be accessible to every student — not a privilege.
Across the DFW metroplex, students face long wait times, stigma, and limited access to affordable care. 60% of college students report experiencing mental health challenges, yet too many don’t know where to turn, and too many more don’t realize the scale of their issue.
That’s why we’re partnering with NAMI North Texas to launch campus pop-ups, peer-led resource booths, and awareness events — connecting students with real help, right where they are.
Our goal is to raise $2,000 to fund on-campus mental health awareness pop-ups at local colleges (TCU, SMU, UTA, UNT, and UTD). Each dollar helps cover materials, training, and outreach that links students to free NAMI programs and local support groups.
Together, we can make it easier for students to recognize when they need help — and know exactly where to find it.
How You Can Help
$10: Prints 50 resource cards with hotline + campus help info
$25: Supplies one full awareness booth with materials
$50: Funds a volunteer shift to host a pop-up event
$100: supports a full day of outreach across multiple campuses
Because when students get help early, everything changes.
Update: we have reached our goal! Thank you so much for helping everyone!
