Mindi House Funeral and Family Fund

Mindi House passed away unexpectedly at 39 years old after being involved in a vehicle accident (obituary link).  She was truly a joyful, kind and loving woman who gave so generously of her time and resources to her family, friends, church, community and beyond. She was a wonderful Christian woman who loved the Lord deeply and found great joy in serving and giving to others.  She also loved her job as a rural mail carrier for the US Postal Service in Dublin, Texas, and truly cared for her customers. She touched the lives of so many people, and words cannot express how much she will be missed.

We, Mark and Nanci (House) Morris, are starting this fund to help support Mindi's parents, Philip and Bette House of Dublin, TX, as they cover her funeral expenses and grieve the loss of their oldest daughter. Above and beyond the funeral/burial expenses, Mindi's mom (Bette House, who also works for USPS in Dublin as a rural carrier) currently only receives three paid grievance days off work. She is looking at having to use up all her vacation days and/or take leave without pay for additional days she needs for the grieving process. Any funds donated here above the funeral/burial costs will be used to help cover the loss of pay for extra days Bette needs off of work.
