As you know, Minda went in for a surgery that should have been very routine. She was supposed to be out of the hospital in 3 days. That was 10 days ago and she is still in the hospital. She has been battling numerous things like fevers, pain, her potassium and magnesium levels dropping and trying to keep from getting physically sick. After 10 days in the hospital, the infectious disease doctor and internist still don’t know what is wrong. She hasn’t been able to work and therefore is down to one income with a family of six to support plus massive medical bills coming. A recent job change caused her old medical insurance to lapse and therefore she won’t have insurance till April 1. Minda is the type of person that would give someone else her last dollar if someone else needed it regardless if she needed that dollar or not. She is one of the kindest people I know. She will tell you like it is but then will give you a hug to make sure you aren’t upset. She is a strong person that can carry the weight of the world with a smile on her face. Even the strong needs help at times. If you could spare some money to help out our dear friend, this is the time to do it.
