Leonard, Lynne and Kristoffer - Great Scottish Run and Scottish half marathon 2024 in memory of Iain

Myself and Leonard are running the Great Scottish run on Sunday 6th October 2024 in Glasgow. We have both run this half marathon before, but this year we are running it in memory of Leonard’s Son, Iain. Who tragically took his own life earlier this year. We are running in his memory to rise monies for Mind Your Head, our local mental health charity who work in partnership with other organisations to raise mental health and wellbeing awareness in Shetland, reducing stigma and preventing suicide.

One of Iain’s best friends, Kristoffer Thomason is going to run the Scottish Half Marathon on Sunday 18th August in memory of Iain as well. Donations for Kristoffer can be made through this joint page for Mind your Head as well.
