My ceiling collapsed in my apt this weekend and my roommate said she is bailing on the lease and I.
Ive had to sleep in my car with my pet hedgehog and drive around in the heat waiting for info for days. My insurance recently switched owners and they have been less than helpful with my claim.
My deductible is $500. On top of all this, my roommate is going to bail on the lease as soon as she finds a job. We were together but she found someone new. Im being left to take care of half of a maxed out credit card of 3500 that we shared together when we were going through rough times, emotional damages from the breakup as well as a fear of my apt caving in again after they patch the giant hole over the living room, and a lease to figure out what to do with.
I cant afford to see a doctor to get checked out for breathing in insulation. I havent been able to access my work uniform or computer because its full of insulation. This means I have had commissions on hold and been losing out on money. I continue to lose as i try to find places to take everything to get cleaned out and find a way to pay a deductible that was randomly brought upon me.
I may need a lawyer if they try to argue my property damage claims. I definitely will need some sort of money for a storage unit or first months rent at another place. I also need totes to put my stuff in that cant be put into boxes (commission items) as well as a way to clean the projects that got insulated. I had to fight the adjuster for a hotel for a night after sleeping in my car so this isnt going to be easy by any means.
Bottom line is I am going through a looooot of tragic happenings and just need help with what obviously isnt my fault. If I hadnt woken up Id be in the hospital or have a concussion! Nobody seems to care because they want money I didnt have before this life interruption.
Im not even asking for as much as I truly need in all this. I just need any help that I can get.
