Mina Jo was the definition of strength and courage. She changed the lives of not only my wife and I, but also the lives of her care team. She challenged all of us to be better and to do better. Mina was resilient beyond measures and her will to be with us will forever live on with her foundation.

My wife and I are in the process of setting up a foundation in her name to help support NICU nurses pursue higher education. Many of Minas primary nurses are in the process of pursuing their doctorates degree. These nurses were the ones who stood by our side day in and day out to make sure the care she was provided was that of the very best. Mina made our nurses work so very hard but they did it with such sincerity and compassion. I know in my heart that more than anything Mina Jo would love to forever help support all who helped support her.

Mina Jo Foundation will also help support families with chronic babies in the NICU. Parenting in the NICU is such a very hard task but becomes even more daunting when your child is chronic. We have been so blessed to have our family’s support during this journey; however, not every family is as fortunate as us and because of this we want to help these families. This fund will help support making sure they have resources to food, boarding, and baby essentials as they navigate their NICU stay.
