Hi my name is Carissa and I’m a fellow co-worker of Mina Cisneros. Mina is a dedicated hard worker. She always comes to work early every single day and works even when she doesn’t feel well. She goes above and beyond in making sure the store runs smoothly and makes great connections with customers. She truly cares about the people she sees and always makes sure to do her best. She is a loving wife and a mother of two wonderful, bright children. They are such a kind family. Unfortunately when Mina was on the way to her opening shift at Starbucks she was struck by a vehicle. She told me the last thing she remembered before becoming unconscious was that the man that hit her looked at her and then drove away without even bothering to check if she was okay. Mina is now in the hospital with over 20 broken bones in her body. They say her spine is fine but her lower back and multiple of her ribs are broken. She needs to do extensive rehabilitation to ensure she can continue living her normal life. Mina is such an amazing co-worker and friend. She truly does not deserve this. This a very trying time for her seeing as it’s just before the holidays. Our store in downtown Santa Ana are trying to raise enough money to help with her hospital bills and treatment. We are asking if anyone could please donate whatever they can to help provide Mina the best care. A little goes a long way. Thank you to anyone who can donate from our store on 4th and Broadway.
