Mimi's Relief Fund

This is my long-time friend Worawan “Mimi” Angkachan and she has been dealing with serious heart palpitations for a good portion of her life. Only recently, she’s been properly diagnosed with Premature Ventricular Contractions and Supraventricular Tachycardia (PVC and SVT, respectively). This fund is to help her while she recovers and looks for a job in these harsh times.

Worawan has been suffering with progressively worsening palpitations that were properly diagnosed just this year. Fortunately, she was able to get the surgery she needed and was ready for a long road of recovery. However, within the span of two days her health started to decline to the point of hallucination and losing weight rapidly. She tried admitting herself to the same hospital but she was rejected, telling her that there was nothing wrong, so she had no choice but to find help elsewhere. She got accepted at a different hospital and was told if she had waited any longer she would have surely died. Mimi’s on her way to fully recover now but the post-op event has added additional stress-inducing panic attacks that have sent her to the hospital quite a few times which has extended her recovery period.

Mimi’s predicted recovery time is sometime within the month of September, and the person in charge of taking care of her has limited their support only until the end of August. At the beginning of the year, Mimi lost her job and could not qualify for the much needed unemployment benefits so she couldn’t convince the person to push through the rest of her recovery otherwise. She only has herself for income, so after losing her job she only has had enough for necessities and the kind people where she currently lives have let her stay without needing to pay monthly, albeit still owing it.

Our online gaming guild will continue to support her monetarily and assist her as much as we can, but we decided to call out to anyone with a generous hand as there is a lot more to cover that we cannot do on our own. Especially in these trying times, please only share if you cannot donate - absolutely only donate if you are in the disposition to do so.
