It is with a heavy heart that we are announcing the death of Mimi Zewdu. For those of you that knew her, you know that she was a kind & loving person.
Mimi was a healthcare worker who was on the frontlines fighting this pandemic, she was a friend many counted on, she was a loving wife who’s life was cut too short, and most of all she was a person that devoted her life to Christ.
Mimi went to Ethiopia for two weeks to plan her life for retirement. A few days before coming back to the US she, unfortunately, contracted COVID19 and shortly after fell into a coma. She then experienced kidney failure which eventually lead to her passing on the morning of March 29th, 2021.
This GoFundMe is to alleviate the financial burden that the family faces. We are asking for donations for her funeral and memorial costs. We are also asking that you pray for her family and friends.
We find comfort in knowing that she is with God now, that she is with our heavenly father.
We are hosting a vigil for Mimi on April 3rd at 11 AM at 2545 Warburton Ave
