Mimi Malcolm Woodlawn Cemetery Legacy Bench
Mimi Malcolm passed away May 26th, 2021. In life she was many things to many people. One of her passions was the study of history, especially that of Woodlawn Cemetery. She had even written a book about the people buried in Woodlawn who had helped shape Toledo (see link below). In the summers she would give tours of Woodlawn, highlighting some of the historical figures she researched for her book.
We want to donate to Woodlawn enough to get a Legacy Bench in Mimi's honor. Here's a description of the Legacy Bench taken from Woodlawn's website:
"An opportunity to honor a loved one and share the beauty of Woodlawn. A six foot bench, made of high quality steel, set on concrete, with a 7 x 5 engraved stainless steel plaque. Twenty bench sights left, areas that give beautiful vistas of the nature and history of Woodlawn."
Funds received through GoFundMe will be handled by her sons, Ian and James.
