Help Rebuild Milton Tyre Service

Milton Tyre Service, a family-run tyre and mechanical business, was destroyed on Wednesday the 2nd September by a fire after operating for over 40 years in the local area.

The business is owned by Barry and Dot Solomon and run by their children Darren and Kerrie Solomon and Kim and Mark McCarthy. It employs nine local staff members, most of which have dedicated several decades of service to their loyal customers.

The garage is not only a workplace but a second home and family to the staff. It has also been a refuge for Barry who suffered a stroke last year, spending time at the front desk again talking to the customers. The families have been through a lot in the past twelve months and the cost to demolish and rebuild the workshop is going to be extensive and take a lot of time.

It is hard to put an exact dollar value on everything lost but any and every donation is appreciated, to help get this local family run business back on its feet.
