Once again we are asking for your help!
Unfortunately, so much has happened since our last petition for financial assistance for Milton Broughton.
My Dad's medical journey began at a very early age. He was diagnosed with a renal system malformation at the age of three. After numerous operations, he was fitted with a urostomy bag, and was given a 50/50 chance by the doctor that he would make it to the age of 13. At age 28, my dad had full kidney failure and has been a dialysis patient for 33 years.
By the grace of God he has made it to 61 defying the odds that many doctors claimed. My dad has lost both of his legs, and more recently, has also had to amputate one of his fingers due to the strain dialysis has had on his veinous and circulatory systems. In January of this year, after a late-night episode, he was given a pacemaker. His most recent episode has him in ICU as we make this appeal.
We are sharing this because my dad is a proud and very independent man. But the fact of the matter is he needs financial assistance as he continues throughout this journey, and as the medical bills continue mounting. The goal is to make it where he can worry less about money & bills, & focus more on maintaining his health.
Any contribution is appreciated. No donation is too small. No kind gesture goes unnoticed.
Thank you all for your love, support, and prayers for my daddy, Milton Broughton.
Warmly, Janique Broughton
