The Heart of Milton, ON community

RJ Tostik has been part of our Milton, ON community for years. He is the go to landscaper in summer and operates a winter snow removal business clearing driveways and sidewalks. Neighbors know him by name, trusting his friendly smile and unwavering dedication to our laws, roadways and commercial parking lots.

The Tragedy

A few nights ago, RJ's pick up truck- his sole means to run both his landscaping and snow removal business was stolen from Kaltire, Milton, ON facility. Please see pictures attached . Along with the truck, every piece of equipment related to both summer and winter snow removal operations were stolen. The equipment were stored on his pick up truck. He has just been informed by his insurance company that they will not even cover half of his total loss.

Why we need your help?

RJ doesn't ask for help but the reality is harsh and has finally agreed to reach out to the community for support. He needs the following assistance to re start his business gain:

1. A reliable, work ready pick up truck: $30,000

2. Essential equipment for commercial snow removal & landscaping: $5000

We aim to raise $35,000 so RJ can get back on his feet this summer and be ready again when the first snowfall hits.
