MILTON’S – LET’S BEAT CANCER FUND

“Never give up…..Have Hope…Have Faith!!”

My name is Milton, I am a son, a father and a US Army Veteran.  A follower and servant of God and those around me.

Quick background: Four (4) years ago I was diagnosed with colon cancer.  This news was unexpected and devastating, but due to my faith, there was no doubt in my mind that with God’s help I was going to win this battle.  I had surgery to remove the cancerous tumor, which was then followed up with six (6) months of chemotherapy at Crystal Run Healthcare, Newburgh, NY.

For the past four (4) years, I have been doing consistent routine checkups.

On October 2019, during one of my checkups, the doctors informed me that there had been a recurrence and the cancer has returned. In addition, they also found three (3) masses in my abdomen and one (1) in the liver.  I was told that my only option at that time was chemotherapy to prolong my short life span.  As you can imagine, this news were devastating – especially the unknown. What I did know, however, is that with God and my family by my side I was ready to fight this battle... and win.

Being that according to the doctors the only alternative was chemotherapy I commenced a second round of chemotherapy; and be hopeful and prayerful that the tumor was going to respond well to the chemotherapy to allow me to consider additional treatment plans and/or surgery.

Well….the Lord had a bigger & better plan.  After my tenth (10) session of chemotherapy I found out that at that time my cancer had gone dormant which will give me the opportunity to have the surgery.  In July I actually had the surgery and the doctors were able to remove the cancer tumors from my body.  I’m still recovering from the surgery and I still have to do a few more sessions of chemotherapy.  I still have a tough journey ahead and I’m going to need all the prayers and support that I can get.  I’m so glad that the Lord still in the business of doing miracles.

Here’s where you come in! While you can’t undo my condition, you can help ease some of the financial burden that has been forced upon me in dealing with such expensive medical treatments and surgery.  Unfortunately, there is no health insurance that covers completely the expensive expense of chemotherapy.  Any amount is appreciated and welcomed, even if that “amount” means sharing my story.  Anything you can contribute is greatly appreciated.

Please prayerfully consider how you would be willing to support me during this journey—either through prayer, financial support or both.  Thank you for partnering with me and supporting me as I continue this adventure! I look forward to letting you know how the trip impacted my life.

Please continue to pray for my family and me. Grant us the hope, courage, and strength that we need to face each day, comfort to help ease the pain, and blessings for my healing.

Every penny counts, every share counts, every prayer counts. Even if you can’t afford to donate, sharing this page will still help me get it out to the world. Thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart for being such incredible supporters throughout all of this.

Thank you again for your support and generosity.  May the Mighty Lord bless you all.
