BIANNY y REINALDO, huracan Milton

Hi…my brother lost his home due to Hurricane Milton on October 9, 2024, in Fort Pierce, Florida. Here’s his story:

Hello…we are Bianny and Reinaldo. In this difficult moment that we are going through, we are asking for your help. No matter how small it is, we will truly appreciate it. Hurricane Milton was supposed to make landfall in the Tampa area, but on Wednesday, October 9, 2024, it came to our doorstep in the afternoon with rain and a series of tornadoes (3 major ones to be exact) that were completely unexpected. They were too frequent and strong, almost as if they had targeted Fort Pierce, Florida.

We did not have an evacuation order, even though we knew there could be considerable wind and rain. At the last minute, we were able to take refuge at a neighbor’s house. Despite that, our dear friend Alex passed away—a heavy blow, as he was like family to us.

Now our house is destroyed, uninhabitable… we lost all our belongings, although we managed to salvage a few items. But we have nowhere to live and no means to cover the costs of cleaning, housing, and losses. We would be very grateful for any contribution, whether it’s donating, sharing, or praying for all those affected and for the personal struggles each one is facing. Thank you.

Hi...mi hermano perdió su casa con el huracan Milton, el 9 de octubre 2024, en Fort Pierce, Florida. Su historia:

Hola...somos Bianny y Reinaldo, en este duro momento que estamos pasando ,les pedimos su ayuda, por poca que sea, la apreciaremos. El huracan Milton debia tocar tierra en el area de Tampa...pero el día miercoles 09 de Octubre 2024, en la tarde tocó a nuestra puerta con lluvia y una serie de tornados (3 grandes para ser exactos) que nunca se previeron...FUERON DEMASIADO SEGUIDOS Y FUERTES ,como so se hubieran ensañado con FORT PIERCE, Florida. No teníamos orden de evacuaciónaunque sabíamos que podía haber viento y lluvia considerable. Pudimos refugiados en casa de un vecino a última hora y a pesar de eso, nuestro gran amigo querido Alex su familia falleció, golpe duro pues era como familia. Ahora nuestra casa quedó desabilitada, inhabitable...perdimos todos los enseres aunque recuperamos algunas cosas, pero no tenemos donde vivir ni como amortizar estos gastos de limpieza, vivienda y pérdidas. Mucho sabríamos agradecer su aporte ,así sea compartir u orar por todos los afectados y por las situaciones personales de cada afectado. GRACIAS
