Milo’s Medical Needs with Erdheim Chester Disease

Hello everyone. I am Ashley Kelsey, a proud aunt of Milo Bell who this GoFundMe account is for. As many of you now know, Milo has been diagnosed with a rare blood cancer known as Erdheim Chester Disease. This disease is incredibly rare, but even more so in children. Milo is a candidate for a clinical trial of a drug called cobimetinib that is being conducted in Houston TX at the Children’s Hospital. This treatment will require monthly visits down to Houston TX which unfortunately creates a financial burden for the Bell family as travel expenses will not be covered. My hopes are to raise funds for the family to travel to Milo’s clinic visits and to alleviate the financial stress associated with it since the visits will be monthly over the next 12 months or more. I don’t quite know how much travel expenses will accumulate over that amount of time, and the $5000 amount may need to be adjusted to account for this. But the costs will go towards travel expenses such as fuel for gas, possible Airfare, lodging, and food. Since Houston is about a 9 hour drive from Fayetteville, this will add up quickly over the next year.

Anything to help goes a long way, and myself and the Bell family will be forever grateful for any contribution. Our Milo is so very loved and we want to do anything in our power to help her fight this disease!
