Milo Needs Surgery: Save Kameryn's Dog

Hi friends & family, this is Milo, kameryn (my baby brothers) dog, it’s with a sad heart that on Saturday night, when we weren’t home, he was hit by a truck that was going down our dirt road, unfortunately we did not know the true damages until last night when he became lethargic and seemed worse and we decided to take him to the emergency vet ( something we all try to prevent due to the cost ) while we were there, we found out his recovery is going to involve a surgery currently scheduled for Tuesday. Milo has a completley fractured jaw (so bad that his jaw is moving in two directions) he is going to need 2 teeth removed, a screw plate to hold his jaw together, and once they get him under and get better X-rays and understanding to his upper jaw to see if it is out of place, may require a second surgery. Most of the people that know me, know I am not the type to ask for help typically, I try to figure it out on my own and do what I have to do, but I broke down last night and truly had a complete anxiety attack because my heart is truly breaking, I financially just cannot afford all of this, with my job change at the beginning of the year, my family that I have taken in and playing catch up, I truly cannot financially afford what’s to come out of these surgeries! Although the Dr. last night couldn’t give me a solid number, she did say that the first surgery is going to cost anywhere between $1,500-$2,000 roughly and the second one(if needed) she couldn’t even give me a estimated price. As we know that is just the surgery itself and not including the medication, food, and whatever else is needed for recovery! My heart is breaking because he is apart of my family, he is Kameryn’s dog and I do NOT, and have never been the one to give up but I had to consider sending him to doggy heaven because I just am not in the right position financially to afford all of this. I do have care credit but not much left because last year my other dog had to have a major emergency surgery, that I am still paying on. I’m heartbroken, I don’t know what to do, I already paid $700 last night by taking him to the emergency vet and now I’m trying to figure out what to do on Tuesday. I had to tell Kameryn last night that we have to consider putting him down and it broke his heart more, so he mentioned starting a go fund me to see if people would help! Again, I am not one that typically asks for help but this time, I am! I am asking my friends and family that may be able to help to PLEASE PLEASE donate if possible! We are lost, heartbroken, and do not want to give up on our boy. I want to try to at least do everything I possibly can to be able to afford this and I am praying that I can get help ❤️‍
