MILO NEEDS LIFE SAVING SURGERY! PLEASE HELP!

Tax deductible

This poor little guy is facing euthanasia, if not enough funding is raised, to get him the surgery he requires. He's in pain. Please read Milo's story below and consider donating even the smallest of amounts. This little guy cannot continue to suffer.

Milo is a five year old Pembroke Welsh Corgi. He’s such a lovable little guy. On New Year's Eve, 2025, Milo panicked from all the fireworks that were going off around his home. He ran to hide, slipped, and injured his back. He was immediately paralyzed from the waste down. His owner brought him to the emergency vet. After doing several diagnostics, it was determined that Milo needs immediate surgery. The owner spent several months trying to get help from rescues. Unfortunately, rescues know the cost of this type of corrective surgery. It's a lot to take on. The owner wasn't able to find assistance. Our rescue got involved this month. We are committed to getting Milo the help he needs, if we are given the resources to do so. We can't do it without the community's help. Milo is in a great deal of pain. One of the disks in his back is pinched. It has paralyzed the lower half of his body. The only way to eliminate pain, and potentially reverse the paralyzation of his lower half, is via expensive surgery by a specialist. The cost for this type of surgery, by a board certified surgeon, is very expensive. We were quoted 10K plus. This does not include rehabilitation and a new wheelchair. We need to make a decision soon. He is suffering. The vet feels that he will need to be humanely euthanized, if funding can't be raised soon for surgery. It's unfair for him to suffer. Surgery is the only way to fix this issue. Not only does Milo's owner not have the funding for his surgery, she explained that she doesn’t have the time to care for him properly. She works full-time, her husband has been deployed, and she has two children. The wheelchair she purchased for him is of poor quality. It ended up breaking after a week. He is now dragging himself around. It's causing sores on his body. Milo is often found sitting in his urine, because he’s home alone most of the time. We are actively trying to find a foster home for Milo. Please message the rescue on Facebook Messenger if you're interested. He needs someone who is home a lot. YOU ARE MILO’S ONLY HOPE!!!
Please considering donating to Milo. He is such a gentle and sweet little guy. He deserves a chance.
