Milly’s 2nd chance

Milly is a 12 week old Goldie and had an accident in the back yard somehow damaged her spinal cord which has stopped her from walking. The previous owners did what they could and loved her very much. She went to different vets to figure out what happened but nothing was able to be diagnosed or identify the problem. She was given a 15% chance to walk again. Sadly, they just couldn’t keep up with her so they booked her in to be put to sleep. Which is where our paths met when I found a post asking if anyone wanted her and I didn’t hesitate to offer her a second chance at life. I picked her up on the day she was meant to go to sleep and brought her home to my family (my fiancé and my not quite 2 month old son)Tonight I built Milly a little wheelchair just to get by until we can get a proper one made for her. So that’s Milly a happy as as can be 3month old golden retriever.

Now kinda to the sad thing, it’s going to be a long road of vet visits, hydrotherapy, and other aids. I have had so many messages asking if I have a go fund me page and a page so everyone can follow the journey. We have set one up to help us get Milly all the things she needs to hopefully walk again or just give her the best life she deserves. All money raised will go into her vet bills and what ever money doesn’t get used will be donated to a charity that wins a poll at the end.
