Million Meter Challenge in support of Care and Cure Inst
Donation protected
AMPs million meter challenge has become an annual event.
A way to bring a large number of us together, introduce friends to the gym and work out for a good cause.
The workout is accumulating 2 million meters on all our machines and running. It sounds intimidating but often ends up "easier" than a normal Saturday... just longer. It's a great event to bring friends to, we can make teams from friendship groups too so it's a fun day to hang out.
This year we once again want to support and raise awareness about the cause that is closest to our hearts - Pediatric Neurology.
We were introduced to the Care and Cure Institute recently by a gym member who has had his own experiences in this area. The Institute works to fund the development of pediatric epileptologists and ensure children dealing with these conditions receive the best possible care.
Please take the time to watch this powerful video. We experienced and went through so much of what is seen in the video and received (and continue to receive) care from several of the doctors and nurses seen that have been helped by the institute.
Having been benefactors of this level of care, it's our duty to give back and raise awareness for these areas of medicine moving forward.
Specifically to our case is infantile spasms... which is very rare, underfunded and often goes unnoticed in young children before it's too late.
We are fortunate to have the gym to use as a platform to share all this through and even more fortunate to always get the support from everyone on supporting the causes we push.
Thank you to everyone taking the time to read this, donate and sweat with us.
