Millie’s Household and Medical Expenses

My mom, Millie (Cantley) Mason just lost my daddy, Wesley Mason, to COVID-19. My dad was in the hospital and on a ventilator for several weeks. The entire experience has been devastating and traumatic for my mom and our entire family. My dad fought hard for many days but ultimately succumbed to COVID, which is relentless and horrible. He was vaccinated, and he and my mom had taken precautions, which makes his death even more difficult to understand and accept. My mom had COVID at the same time but was able to stay out of the hospital. She continues to recover at home. Mom is a person of great faith and believes that God has a plan for her life, but she faces many challenges in the days ahead. She and my dad had been married for 40 years, and he was the primary income earner. She has also faced health challenges of her own. This Go Fund Me is to help her with household expenses and medical expenses. My mom would never ask for help for herself, which is why I am creating this fund.
